Crossroads, an hour of everything Clapton
Hosted by Gary Alt
Gary's love of music began about the same time he learned to walk and talk. Ever since then, his musical interests have spanned virtually every genre. And once he became a performing musician, those same genres showed up in his playing and writing.
At the top of the long list of artists that have influenced Gary are The Beatles and Eric Clapton. So it's no surprise that his first work in radio included a weekly hour-long spot called "Eric Capton Sitting In", broadcast on Homegrown Radio and featuring Eric Clapton guesting on other artists' albums. And it turned out to be the most natural fit in the world for him to be the current host of WNTI's “Crossroads: The Music of Eric Clapton” after two years of hosting WNTI's longstanding Beatles hour.
Gary currently lives in the rural country near Hackettstown, the home of WNTI, and where he continues to write and record his own music.
